How to Fix the Bluetooth connectivity issues in the Magic Mouse?
Apparently, the most common reason for the Magic Mouse to disconnect with the Bluetooth was found to be in the battery compartment of the Magic Mouse. It is due to the loose contact of the battery terminal to the battery’s is reported to be causing the problem. A simple jolt of the Magic Mouse at times can bring the batteries in contact with the terminal, which might fix the issue. However, in case, it doesn’t, follow the instructions below for a simple fix.
1.Take out the batteries from the Magic Mouse.
2. Take an Aluminium foil and cut a ½-square inch piece out of it.
3. Wrap it around the negative terminal indicated as ‘-‘ in the battery.
4. Put the batteries back in the Magic Mouse.
The above steps basically help you get rid of any loose contact existing between the battery terminal and the batteries and might resolve the issue with retaining the Bluetooth connectivity. However, both the Magic Mouse, Magic Mouse 2 can suffer from the traditional Bluetooth connectivity issues, where the devices show up in the list, might just not connect.
Magic Mouse 2 Recharging issue
Honestly speaking, this is not an issue at all. Let’s see why we say that. The lighting port where you insert the charger sits on the underside of the mouse, which basically means you cannot charge the Magic Mouse 2 simultaneously, while in use. However, the Magic Mouse 2 takes an unusually short time to recharge. Recharging it for 1 minute can give you a battery life of full one hour. In two minutes, the battery life can go up to full nine hours. So, basically recharging for 2 minutes can charge up the mouse for one whole day work. Hence, the issue is a non-issue to start with. What’s more, Apple claims that Magic Mouse 2 on a full charge can work for one whole month without ever requiring a recharge in between.
